DAY 1

Your End of the World trip begins when you arrive in Porvenir, Tierra del Fuego’s capital. We’ll pick you up at the ferry station or the airport and whisk you away for an exciting tour of the city.

Then, it’s time to travel towards the south of the island. Along the way, you’ll be able to spot native Guanaco and take in the lovely scenery. We’ll make a stop at Estancia Onaisin to visit the British cemetery. From there, we’ll head to King Penguin Natural Reserve and spend a blissful hour observing these majestic creatures. Later, we’ll visit Russfin, where you can see the famous “Draga Aurifera” or “Golden Dredge.” Throughout the day, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for indigenous birds, including Bandurrias, Caiquén, and the Chilean flamingos.

We’ll end the night with a homemade dinner (dessert included!) and an overnight stay at the lodge. Breakfast and a box lunch will also be provided.

DAY 2

On day two, you’ll see why we call this expedition an adventure tour! We’ll start our day with a hearty breakfast and then go on a trekking journey in Karukinka Natural Park. We’ll take an easy to medium difficulty trail that covers 12 kilometers. As you walk, you’ll see steppes, forests of lengas and ñirres, and Andean flora and fauna.

The trail will lead us to Lookout La Lenga and Lookout Laguna del Curra, located at 466m above sea level. There, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view. You may even spot some wildlife! Our journey ends at the lake. Then, we’ll head back to the lodge for another homemade dinner, which comes complete with dessert. You’ll also enjoy a box lunch on this day

DAY 3

You can give your legs a rest on day three. We’ll have breakfast together and then head, by car, to Karukinka Natural Park. Be sure to keep your eyes wide open as we drive because you won’t want to miss a minute of the spectacular panoramic view. You’ll see native wildlife, virgin forest, majestic mountains, crystal blue lakes, and the astonishing landscapes that the End of the World is known for.

Once we arrive at Karukinka Natural Park, you’ll enjoy being immersed in an untouched, pristine park like no other. Be on the lookout for the Patagonian guanaco, Andean condor, and endangered Culpeo foxes that inhabit the area. You can also observe the native flora and the sub Antarctic forest full of Lengas, Coigües de Magellanes, mosses and lichens, and Ñirres.

We’ll point out the almost 300 square miles of forest and peat bogs that have been damaged by beavers. Then, after traveling through forest and mountains, we’ll reach Caleta Maria. This breathtaking bay is nestled between mountain ranges with glaciers shining on the top of the peaks. We’ll take a short, one hour trek alongside the coast so you can really appreciate the view. And, if you’re lucky, we may even spot some elephant seals!

After our walk, you’ll enjoy coffee or tea and a brief break. Then, we’ll head toward Yendegaia National Park for more gorgeous views. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge. A box lunch is also provided on this day.
